Die Johannisbachaue in Bielefeld stellt mit dem 18ha großem Obersee und dem mäandernden Johannisbach eine einzigartige Kultur- und Naturlandschaft dar. Im unteren Bereich ab dem Wehmeyerhof soll der Johannisbach wieder sein natürliches Bachbett bekommen und der 48ha große Bade- und Feizeitsee „Johannissee" entstehen.

With the 18ha large Obersee and the meandering Johannisbach, the Johannisbachaue in Bielefeld is presenting a unique cultural and natural landscape.
In the lower area from the Wehmeyerhof, the Johannisbach shall get its natural stream bed back and become a 48ha large recreational lake, called "Johannissee".
