SCRIPTURE READING
-I know God created me, and He loves me( Psalm 139:13-18 John 15:9)
-I have faults and weaknesses , and I want to change. I believe God is working in my life. He is changing me little by little, day by day. While He is doing so, I can still enjoy my life and myself( 2Corinthians 3:18)
-I celebrate the progress I have made instead of being discourage about how far I still have to go( Philippians 1:6)
-Everyone has faults. I am not a failure simply because I am not yet perfect in my behavior( Philippians 3:12-14)
-I am working with God to overcome my weaknesses, but I realize that I will always be growing in some area. I will not become discouraged when God convicts me of areas in my life that need improvement( Hebrews 12:5-12)
-I want to make people happy and have them like me, but my sense of owrth is not dependent on what othes think of me. Jesus has already affirmed my value by His willingness to die for me( John 15:13)
-I will not allow what poeple think, say, or do to control me. Even if they totally reject me, I will survive, because God has promised to never reject or condemn me as long as I believe in Him ( Hebrews 13:6)
