If we've learned anything this year it is that the days of our lives are numbered. In Psalm 39 the Psalmist wrote that our life is like a vapor.... and he makes our beauty vanish like a moth. Moths not only consume but they also disintegrate- such a wonderful and poetic analogy for our lives. Knowing our short time her on earth, we should be thankful for every moment we get not only to live our lives well but also to appreciate the loved ones we've grown to cherish around us.
