Why AIM for Seva?
At IndianRaga we believe that education is a fundamental right that should be available to all. AIM for Seva is an organisation that is taking education to hundreds of underprivileged children across various cities in India.
"Bhāvaye Paramātmānam", meaning "manifestation of the divine", are the first two words of a composition by Pujya Swami Dayananda Saraswati, one of the most profound thinkers and teachers of Vedanta. These words extol the spirit of Pujya Swamiji’s teachings – "All that is here is Ishvara".
This music video was shot in Manjakkudi (a small village in the Tiruvarur district of Tamil Nadu) - the birthplace of Pujya Swami Dayananda Saraswati.
From a tiny sleepy village, Manjakkudi has today bloomed into an educational hub that provides a platform for education and empowerment for over 5,000 first-generation learners, who come from 300 neighbouring villages.
AIM for Seva has been working to educate the children of rural India through our network of 104 Chatralayas, 6 schools, and 1 college, spread across 16 Indian states, for over 20 years.
