In today's video, I recommend video games that I've enjoyed in the past. If you are experiencing burn out from playing a game you like too much, it may be time to try something else. If you're looking for more story for the games that made Baldur's Gate 3, start with Baldur's Gate 1 and 2. If you're just looking for an alternative take on D&D, try out Pathfinder Kingmaker/Wrath Of the Righteous. Solasta: Crown of the Magistar is also a decent recommendation.
Perhaps you're looking for a more futuristic take on the CRPG genre. The Shadowrun games, Shadowrun Returns, Shadowrun: Dragonfall, and Shadowrun: Hong Kong may have you covered!
A game that isn't entirely similar to Baldur's Gate but definitely has a storybook feel with choices that matter is Wildermyth.
Dragon Age: Origins is the game that I thought of most when playing through Baldur's Gate 3. At least in terms of its quality characters and narrative.
And can't forget about Divinity Original Sin 1 and 2. Without them, a Larian Studios developed Baldur's Gate 3 would have never happened!
I hope you enjoyed this list, I was sick for most of the process of making it and still recovering. I wanted to work more on Baldur's Gate 3 videos but I was feeling too down with the sickness to play games for an extended period of time.
