I'm still working on the website. Turning the mockup to code, then making that code work properly is a time consuming process, but we're getting there. I've gotten most of the home page and its systems working at this point.
Demo Progress:
We've made real good progress in the demo, as far as systems go.
Originally we planned to have almost nothing in the demo besides models… We weren't going to include AI, Combat, or a day/night cycle… but things change. @justin has been working hard on the combat and AI, @MrOverkill is spending his days working on the server, @Robert Calicomorgan has been working on the day/night cycle and fixing some bugs…
ChangeLog:
AI now respawns, has health, can attack the player, return to spawn, and only follows the player if you are in range.
Added Day/Night cycle.
Fixed VSync bug, VSync can now be disabled without setting the camera to hyper speed.
Player now has health, can die, and can attack AI.
"Unstuck" button in pause menu now works.
Adjusted some scaling and positioning.
Fixed more of that nasty flickering.
Changed the way the player is handled.
Made adjustments to camera, camera rotation is now locked to your mouse, much like Skyrim.
Added a human placeholder player model. (This will be changed to a different model later)
Multiple scripts fixed up.
Made lighting adjustments
Player can now enter their name and it will be displayed above their head in-game. (Just thought it was a fun little addition)
@justin also spilled lava everywhere… (Don't worry, it's cleaned up now…mostly )
Now… could someone kindly find us more rum?

Black Flag Online is a upcoming game made by a mixed team of some former POTCO players to make a brand new Pirate-themed MMO.
