Sort of, not really! It's debatable. But regardless of how many views our videos get, I am still so grateful to this community of animation-enthusiasts who have decided to watch our videos. You guys are the best, and you're the reason I get to do this for a living!

To EWOW people: EWOW 1a is coming soon! While recording this video, I actually talked for a couple minutes after this video about EWOW 1a discussion, such as that I was allowing a few late people to enter as part of a courtesy "grace period". But I didn't want this video to end up too long, so I trimmed it out!

Regarding the old pre-2018 dream of having a YouTube video with more views than any YouTube channel had subscribers, here's how close it was:
PewdiePie, the most subscribed YouTuber at the time, reached 50M subscribers in Dec 2016. (source: youtube.com/watch?v=0Ku_iNKOv38)
In that month, BFDI Episode 1a reached 45.8 million views. It was over NINETY percent the way to achieving the goal! That's so close, i cannot believe it!
