What does it actually mean to play the Engineer class in Battlefield 6?
This is Part 3 of my BF6 class series, and just like Assault & Support, this isn't a loadout guide, meta breakdown, or a discussion about the best launcher.
This is about the role.
Assault creates momentum. Support preserves it. And Engineer protects that momentum by dealing with the mechanical threats preventing the rest of the squad from doing their jobs.
The Engineer class has several tools at its disposal, but simply carrying those tools doesn't mean the player is actually performing the role.
That's where decision-making comes into the discussion.
So here's the question:
