This recording is presented in partnership by Princeton Public Library and Princeton University Concerts. Pianist and writer Stephen Hough discusses his collection of essays, "Rough Ideas" in advance of the performance on Feb. 20 featuring Hough and the Takács String Quartet.

Hough is also a composer and painter, and has been described by The Economist as one of “Twenty Living Polymaths.”
