Amelia Rozear is a Providence-based painter and illustrator with a love of traditional media. She received her BFA in illustration from RISD in 2022. Her work is an ode to her childhood in coastal New England, and is inspired by textile design, storybook illustration, and traditional painting. Her Curious Travels Tarot Deck, created during the pandemic, has delighted tarot readers with its originality, presenting images filled with adventure and creating space not only for insightful readings but also for captivating stories of love, pain, new beginnings, and wonder. Amelia has recently launched an art history podcast called The Gilded Eye Podcast. Her Instagram has amassed over 100k dedicated followers.
