I never had a Gamecube growing up, so I missed a lot of great games in that console generation. One of those games was Beyond Good and Evil. My friend @bain1576 recommended this game to me a while ago, and with his stunning track record of amazing games I couldn't say no. Beyond Good and Evil holds up remarkable well for a game that's over 20 years old, but does still suffer from some of the game design hurdles from the early 2000's. That being said, the adventures of Jade, Pey'j, and the whole crew on Hillis is one that I'll remember for a long time to come! This stream aired live in June 2024 on Twitch.

My Friendly Neighborhood is a weird game. I did not think it was going to be as good as it was, but it genuinely surprised me. A game that looks like a Resident Evil clone with puppets actually tells a really weirdly sweet story about a grumpy repairman and his effort to find his spark and survive the night against a horde of evil puppets. John and Evan Szymanski have really knocked this game outta the park and Im looking forward to playing some other games by John now! This stream aired live on July 2024 on Twitch.

Bugsnax was one of my favorite indie game in 2023 and I cant believe that its taken me almost a year to get into Octodad: Dadiest Catch! The first game by Young Horses, Octodad sees you take control of an octopus just trying to make his way in the world... the human world. This game is silly and ridiculas and amazing all at once. It is quite short, but it captures the fun and whimsy that these game devs have for their creations! I absolutely cant wait for the next game from them! Dogtown has many secrets within it and were ready to unveil all of them in our quest to save So Mi and ourselves at the same time. Will we be able to thread the needle of this intense sky thriller and make our way to safety or will Dogtown and Hanson come out on top? I guess were all just going to have to wait and see!
