"I like to go a wandering, along a mountain track..."
For Frank, this is what has kept him perpetually young - being up in the mountains, out in nature. Itâs probably no surprise that something about nature makes us feel more alive and vital - it allows us to feel better, to think better, and to deepen our understanding of ourselves and others.
While we might carry the accumulation of years on our bodies and on our face, we can stay young at heart. Thatâs one of the most beautiful things anyone can do.
âIf wrinkles must be written upon our brows, let them not be written upon the heart. The spirit should never grow old.â â James A. Garfield
Filmed with Frank Woodvine, in Hermanus, South Africa.

Life consists of polarities â light and dark, good and evil, sweet and bitter. We are no different. All of us have a shadow side. And it is this shadow or dark side that allows us to gain a sense of perspective, by allowing us to truly appreciate the light side of life. The more we acknowledge what we donât like, the easier it is to see our gifts and strengths. It makes us a whole human being.
There was a man who was so disturbed by his own shadow that he was determined to lose it for good. So he got up and ran. But his shadow kept up with him, and so he ran faster and faster until the exertion took its toll and he dropped. If he had simply stepped into the shade, sat down and stayed still [meditated], his shadow would have vanished. -Chuang Tzu, The Way
Filmed in Montagu, South Africa.
