Hi crafty friend! It’s **Justine Dvorak from Stationary by Justine** — where when I craft, my world stands still.
In today’s video I’m working with **Yana’s beautiful tulip press plate collection from Spellbinders** to create several spring-inspired cards. I’ll share how I use my **BetterPress system with watercolor paper** and then bring the images to life using a **wet-on-wet metallic watercolor technique** for a soft, organic look.
You’ll also see a fun experiment where I press the plate onto **patterned paper from one of my very first Spellbinders card kits** (yes… the hoarded paper finally made it onto a card!). It creates a modern color-blocked look that shows just how versatile press plates can be.
This video is all about **playing, experimenting, and embracing the artsy side of cardmaking**. Not every watercolor panel turns out perfect — but sometimes those creative risks lead to your favorite card of the bunch.
