In today's video we'll be taking a look at how I'm using a relay base to make my otherwise "dumb" smoke alarms smart and how I'm integrating it with both Home Assistant and my Texecom Premier Elite burglar alarm so that I can be notified if the smoke alarms are ever activated while I'm away from home! We'll do this using some Espire alarms from Scolmore and the ES1RB relay base which makes it easy to interface the alarms with an external system and we'll take a look at using this with both my burglar alarm panel, and also a Shelly module allowing direct integration with Home Assistant.
