This is a rather basic video; I mainly wanted to test a different microphone and get feedback for that.
I haven´t seen anyone synchronize instant logic gates before, even though it´s so obvious that there have to be some people who have done it before, and I thought there should be at least one public video about this somewhere so I decided to make one myself and put it on my channel.
In this bug report ( bugs.mojang.com/browse/MC-8328 ) someone claimed that it´s impossible to make reliable instant logic, which also inspired me to try to make a reliable instant adder which can handle all possible input transitions. And now I´ve made a 2 bit adder which can handle all possible transitions. It´s of course possible to make adders with more bits than just 2, but it´s annoying to synchronize them, because to synchronize the carry you need to make something like an instant carry-look-everywhere adder which would be very very big with the current repeaters and inverters I have. This is still work in progress.

One could argue, that this is only a 2D Quarry and not a 3D Quarry, because it can only mine areas with a height of up to roughly 100 blocks, instead of being able to mine cubes of arbitrary height (because for anything bigger the tnt will explode before hitting the ground), but for practical intents and purposes this can do anything you would ever need from a quarry.

I found a way to consistently make ghost blocks (blocks, that are there for the client, but not for the server) and the opposite, invisible blocks (blocks, that are there for the server, but not for the client) in 1.8. release. I considered it worth sharing.
And if you watch closely, you can see some very weird piston animations.

My theory on how this thing works (this thing is incorrect, but I´ll leave it here anyways. If you want a correct explanation watch the video Exploiting 1 tick desynchronizations):
When a piston facing upwards gets activated, it tells the block above it, to change to an extending piston head with the same damage value as the block below it (the piston) upon it´s next update. If we use fancy zero tick technology to replace the piston with another piston facing sidewards, before the block above gets updated, the block above the piston will also be a sidewards facing piston head, since it creates a piston head with the same damage value as the piston below it. So this machine creates a sidewards facing sticky piston head moving downwards above the normal piston facing upwards.
The client will just see: There is a sticky piston head retracting downwards. Therefore it will pull the block above the piston head downwards.
The server on the other hand in smarter, and recognizes that the sticky piston head is facing the wrong way and therefore will not pull the block above.
So for the client the blocks above the contraption are pulled down and for the server they aren´t. And these desynchronized blocks are, what we call ghost blocks.")

Steps for performing a chunk swap:
1. Activate permaloader and mob switches.
2. Load grid of cluster chunks.
3. Wait for an autosave.
4. All players simultaneously relog. Player at unload platform aligns against cobble wall while relogging.
5. Create invisible chunk. Fly towards beacon tower.
6. Player at unload platform flicks lever and goes through iron trapdoor. Immediately after that the player at the beacon tower place 2 layers of stained glass above the beacon tower.The players should not unnecessarily walk around or move their mouse while doing this.
