We keep on looking for Betelgeuse’s odd behaviour. Now we know that at least some of its strangeness comes from a companion star, which orbits the star within its envelop. Monte and Salman chat about Betelgeuse and its newly discovered companion nicknamed “Betebuddy”. Now we can say that Betelgeuse is a binary star system.
