This is a 115-second-long video of a visit to Kyoto. Ligou said it was the best time for visiting temples and gardens illuminated by red maples.
This HD video clip deals with the very important Chion-in buddhist site, close to the Yasaka Shrine (Kyoto center). There is no garden but there are many temples to visit. In the main temple, one could hear a psalmody: a priest was repeating Amida, Amida..., the japanese name of the Amithaba Buddha.
One can also see the typical tank where special little sticks are burning; the smoke is good for lungs (Ligou and the loved ones checked the efficiency for asthma).
