Beta 2 has long been a master of production, seamlessly blending jazz-infused elements with cinematic depth to create truly immersive drum and bass. He’s one of the artists who most excites us here at Metalheadz, so it’s a pleasure to be releasing a new 3-tracker entitled ‘White Dahlia’.
The title track pushes the boundaries of drum and bass with an organic, instrument-driven approach that breaks away from traditional synth-heavy sounds, offering a real breath of fresh air.
‘Kerb Kruncher’ delivers a punch of early 2000s nostalgia, packed with raw energy and gritty textures, and features on the flip side of ‘White Dahlia’ on a limited edition white 10” lathe cut.
Closing the release, ‘Carter’ showcases Beta 2’s signature noir aesthetic, driven by deep double bass tones and an unmistakable atmospheric touch.
