Welcome to Kovray! We're a couple who adores board games and seeks to share our joy and passion with you. Today, we'll be diving into each of our trick-taking games and tier ranking them based on our own experience!

What is trick-taking? Well, trick-taking is one of the most classic families of card games, stretching back centuries and still inspiring modern board games today. The core idea is simple: everyone plays one card into the centre, and the highest card of the suit that was led takes the trick, collecting the pile. From there, each game sometimes throws in twists and turns, sometimes you want to win tricks, sometimes you want to avoid them, and sometimes you’re working with teammates to achieve a goal.
