I don't train traps often, but when I do, it's always behind the back shrugs! I find this puts the barbell in the best spot to avoid hitting your junk and for a more ideal ROM (up and down). I like to go double overhand on these to really work my forearms and grip as well, which has helped a ton with grip strength for deadlifts.
