The HoverAir X1 Pro/Pro Max are the newest drones to feature outstanding autonomous tracking with a beacon, a significant advancement since the Skydio 2's release in October 2019. Although DJI dominates the drone market, their tracking relies solely on visual aids, which are not as dependable as having a GPS dongle like a beacon. Today, I decided to revisit my Skydio 2 drone while awaiting the consumer release of the HoverAir X1 Pro, which also includes a beacon.
