Turning Schubert into silky, modern lines! I’m playing a modified version of Schubert’s Impromptu D. 899 No. 4 using Universal Audio’s Electra 88 Vintage Keyboard Studio.
It’s modeled after the 1974 Rhodes Eighty Eight Suitcase Mark 1 and comes with all kinds of effects and mic/amp settings. I adjusted my own settings within the Electra 88 software using the Suitcase Preamplifier, 1176 Limiter, Delay, Reverb, and EQ. I set my “mic placement” to Wide, with very little Room.
