These gentle exercises for osteoporosis, when done at one’s own pace, can help prevent further decline and help protect the bones. Osteoporosis often has no symptoms until you break a bone. The fractures can occur in any bone but happen most often in the hip, spine, and wrist. When exercising with osteoporosis it’s important to move safely: Maintain good spinal alignment by keeping hips and shoulders in alignment (no twisting).
