well would you look at that, another year done and over with! this was a strange year for me; i figured out a solid career path, started medication, got my first job, graduated with my AA degree, transferred to a new university, went to two concerts, quit my job, got a new job at my university, visited my family and home country after two years of no contact, and overall started re-learning how to be human again. a bit overdramatic maybe but that's how it felt once the anti-depressants kicked in.
this year was the first year in a long, long time that i found myself able to enjoy life itself, even while still in the midst of The Panini (tm). in light of that, i didn't really do that many parts this year; editing had quickly become a coping mechanism for me, and as my mind healed, i found that i didn't feel the need to edit 24/7. i still love editing and will never stop doing it (i made it my career after all LMAO) but now i make sure to not overwhelm myself with mep parts; i no longer want my life to be dictated by mep deadlines.
this is usually where i say i might take less mep parts going forward etc etc, but tbh im not gonna hold myself to anything for this next year. im simply going to edit whatever i want to, however much i want to, and whenever i want to. thanks if you read all of this!
