When you don't have expectations, anything can surprise you. And that keeps happening a lot for me here in NieR: Automata! After completing a rather liNieR (see what I did there? :P) mission, the game then throws me into this big open area and let's me explore, hunt for treasure, and engage enemies at will! :O
