...From the beginning of our build, we needed to buy a machine that could: skid logs, haul materials, and transport us to the build site. Should we go with good all-around vehicle, like an ATV? Or maybe something more specialized, like a tractor? I cover the strengths and weaknesses of both.
...We also custom fit some boards to clad in the gable gaps. The pieces we needed to make had to be precise, so we used cardboard patterns to help us achieve the exact fit we needed.
