Best Left Buried: Deeper is a rules-light, fantasy horror roleplaying game – where the monsters are scary, and you are scared.
The Doomsayer's Guide to Horror contains guidelines and procedures for running games, including advice for creating dungeons and a toolbox of alternate rules. It includes the Thirteen Duchies of Lendal Doomsayer facing lore and a starting hexcrawl adventure, The Lowlands of Internment.
Players are Cryptdiggers, professional dungeon-divers who venture into monster-infested Crypts, braving threatening environments, solving cryptic puzzles, and facing terrifying monsters in their search for riches. Survivors might find themselves richer but find themselves changed by the experience. They are often broken, beaten, and diminished—as ruined as the crypts they explore.
