The best Halloween spider wins! We made an Alien Spider prop and Banshee animatronic for Halloween 2024. Follow along as we design, sculpt, mold, paint, and finish these amazing monsters. distortionsunlimited.com/collections/new-2024
The video begins with Tom Cassidy sculpting the Alien Spider in clay while Mike, Ed, and Zack work on the Banshee armature. Then Mando, Mon and crew prepare and mold the Alien Spider, and Janene and Lorena trim and prep them. The Alien Spiders are then ready for an epic paint contest between Ed and Tom that will help determine the final paint color of the spider. The crew will vote and give their opinions. Which color will be the best?
We also bring Jordu Schell in to sculpt Marsha's vision, the Banshee animatronic. Its unsure how this animatronic will turn out as the mechanics, sculpt, paint and costume all need to come together before the Transworld Halloween show.
