I've done numerous experiments with various different sorts of sealers and finishes for use with your painted coasters. (Here is the latest one and my conclusions so far - acrylicpouring.com/resin-spray-lacquer-test-painted-tile-coasters/.) Many have not been successful and do not pass the hot coffee test. So in this experiment, I will be trying paints that don't need any sealer and claim to be permanent, and dishwasher safe. Let's see how the DecoArt Americana Gloss Enamels will work for pouring and if they will pass the hot coffee mug test.
