The “Fun Size” segment of V/H/S/Halloween (2025) is a twist-on-Halloween horror in which four trick-or-treaters ignore a “one per person” candy warning and end up trapped in a deadly candy factory run by a monstrous mascot.
In this chapter, newly-engaged couple Lauren (Lawson Greyson) and Josh (Riley Nottingham) join friends Haley (Jenna Hogan) and Austin (Jake Ellsworth) on Halloween night when they stumble across a mysterious unattended bowl of bizarre candy bearing the sign: “One per person.” After they each help themselves — and Austin dared to take a second piece — a red hand lashes out, yanking them into the bowl and transporting them into a grim candy-manufacturing warehouse. There they are stalked by the titular mascot Fun Size (Michael J. Sielaff) who gleefully converts the victims into chocolate-covered confections, while Lauren struggles with second thoughts about her engagement as Josh falls first. Lauren escapes momentarily, only for Fun Size to resurface and brutally crush her skull — and the epilogue reveals two children later pick from the bowl, wherein one of the candies turns out to be Lauren’s severed ring finger, prompting another carnivorous take-up of the candy bowl.
