The Viofo A329 series represents a major 2025 upgrade, featuring 4K Starvis 2 (IMX678) front video and a faster processor that maintains high image quality even when running three channels. It introduces unique specialized add-on cameras and significantly improved parking capabilities.
Add-on Camera Options: The A329T includes a 2K front telephoto lens with 4x zoom for capturing distant license plates. The A329S features a 2K fisheye interior camera for total cabin and side-window coverage. Waterproof exterior cams are also available.
Long-Term Parking: New low-power and hybrid modes allow for over a week of protection on a standard battery. A timer or voltage threshold can automatically switch the cam from high-detail buffered recording to a low-power "impact-only" sleep state.
Performance Upgrades: Includes Wi-Fi 6 for faster transfers, SSD support, and 4K multiplexing, which combines three camera angles into a single file for easier sharing.
Important Notes: The system lacks cloud features and spoken impact alerts. Upgrading from the A229 Pro requires re-running rear cables as the new series uses a different coax design.
