So this right here is the recovery collar, and it has a little pole right here so you can tighten it up against them if they're a smaller necked dog or cat. And of course, you can open it up as well. We're gonna take some measurements of that here in just a minute. I also wanna point out this cool-looking design, which I really like. They make it in a few other designs too, so if you’re looking for variety, they got options. Looking at the stitching all around this thing, everything looks very nice and tight, no weird hairs sticking out, so that’s awesome.
Now, let's go ahead and do those measurements. I’ve got my old dad reviews tape measure here, and you're looking at about 9 3/4 inches in diameter for the entire disc. If you're looking at the interior portion, you're getting about 3.5 inches in diameter when it’s fully extended. I can cinch this up really small, I mean, like the size of a quarter. I really don’t need to measure that because I doubt any pet has a neck that small.
I like how adjustable it is, making it easy to put on them. I can fit my fist through it, which shows how much it opens up. As I mentioned, there are different designs available, so check out the product listing below to find the best one for you. If you’re considering any vet-approved safety net for your pet, this collar is perfect for preventing licking of injuries and keeping them safe while they heal.
