OE ProTune is a training ECU for BeamNG.drive. It lets you tune an engine the way you would in real life, without blowing up a real motor. You connect it to a car and adjust fuel, ignition timing, boost, lambda, and more, and the engine reacts to your changes the same way a real one would.
It works on petrol and diesel engines, and on naturally aspirated, turbo, and supercharged setups. When you bolt on parts like a turbo or bigger injectors, the car runs badly until you tune for them. Tune it right and you make real power. Tune it wrong and it runs lean, knocks, overheats, or blows up.
The app has full fuel, ignition, boost, and lambda tables, plus closed loop lambda, knock control, and engine protection. It has a built in dyno so you can measure your power and compare pulls. It has live data logging you can scrub through to see exactly where something went wrong. You get live readouts for AFR, boost, EGT, knock, injector duty, and engine health.
Diesel engines are fully supported with their own smoke model, so over fueling will roll coal. There is functional nitrous. There is launch control with a 2 step sound, flat foot shifting, and rolling antilag with a button you bind yourself.
To help you learn, there are guided in game lessons that walk you through tuning step by step, and a Help Me tool that reads your current tune and tells you what to fix. There is also a build card so you can show off your setup.
