In “Besiege” for PC, after completing the first few levels, you start battling enemies as well. Enemies will attack you with swords or arrows and a couple of hits from either will quickly render your machine useless. This is why we advise you to always cover the exterior of your machines with armor plating.
There are several categories for the items you can use when building machines, one of the main categories is “Armor”. In here, you will find several types of armor plating that you can use. Adding these increases the weight of your machine but it also greatly increases the amount of damage you can take before breaking. If you’re in need of extra protection, always cover your machine in armor first.
