Just 6 years old, this current model Continental Flying Spur has fallen victim to an engine fire. The severity of the blaze was sufficient to write off the car as the repair would have been financially prohibitive, and the structure of the front of the car is severely damaged. This is the first car of this shape to come our way, and also the first V8 model, although that is academic, little if anything can be salvaged from the engine bay. The car remains relatively undamaged from the dashboard, back, and will provide useful parts to add to our stock. It will also give our recycling team an insight into the construction of more recent cars.
