Each installment of Ben's Tours takes you on a visit to a special place. This time join me for a sobering visit to the site of the former Gross-Rosen Concentration Camp in southwestern Poland. Opened in August of 1940, the camp quickly became synonymous with the brutal, forced labour operations of its granite quarry. Some 125,000 prisoners were eventually sent to Gross-Rosen and at least 40,000 died.
