fun fact: this level is full of serpents because they are the creatures that are most associated with the devil, despite the villain not being the actual devil it's kinda a funny reference.
there are also trees that some might think it's a reference to the tree of knowledge but it's actually just because this level takes place in a forest, so of course there will be trees.
so yeah this game contains a lot of references, some stuff can be seen as references even if they are not too, but this game is still an original game and not a fan game of something else.
it has the vibe of a mario game because it is a platformer and has some sounds from it and inspiration but it still an original game, because if i were to just copy mario my school that asked me to make this game would know and they won't accept it.
