And in ‘Eumeralla: A War Requiem for Peace’, Deborah Cheetham Fraillon brings together 150 singers and over 70 musicians to tell the story of the Eumeralla Wars. Benjamin Northey, who conducted the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra’s performance in 2019, reflects on this poignant and impactful work ahead of its Sydney premiere at the Sydney Opera House this September.
