Benjakitti Park in Bangkok is one of the smaller but well tended to public parks in Bangkok. There is a jogging and a cycling track around the central Ratchada Lake. You can hire bicycles (though rather small in size) or peddle a boat on the lake. If you are lucky you may observe some rather atrocious looking large monitor lizards (besides the many turtles and fish in the lake).
