Heart disease is a leading cause of death in India. Bengaluru-based startup Cardiac Design Labs is trying to help combat this problem with their product MIRCaM, a wearable diagnostic device.

Once the device is worn by the patient, their doctor can remotely monitor and diagnose them using data which is accessible through a tablet or smartphone. The company is currently piloting MIRCaM across various large and small hospitals in the country and plans to widely deploy it in 2017.
