"Simulanka: The gift that keeps on giving."
-arnold Delgado / @MurderofBirdsImpact
Because I miss Simulanka like everyone else, here's my "one-man keyboard orchestra" cover of "Benedictio Somnii" (Blessing of the Dream), the emotional peak soundtrack from the Genshin Impact Simulanka Summer Event! Performed note-for-note on the Yamaha Montage M ESP softsynth. If this emotional piece brought back memories of the journey with the Traveler, Wanderer, Navia, Nilou, and Kirara, don't forget to like and subscribe!
About the Music & Arrangement:
"Benedictio Somnii" translates from Latin to "Blessing of the Dream." This theme plays during one of Genshin's most heartwarming moments—when the group gives their collective blessing to the "Evil" toy dragon Durin, transforming him into "Mini Durin" and paving the way for his human form.
As content creator Arnold Delgado (MurderofBirdsImpact) perfectly put it: "Simulanka: the gift that keeps on giving because it literally is. Even to this date, Simulanka's lore is still being decrypted and some of the happenings in that fantasy area are happening in irl Teyvat..or at least being referenced in the main lore."
To bring this massive orchestration to life as a single player, I treated this project as a full keyboard orchestra split into 5 distinct instrument layers:
🎶 Celestial Harp – Main rhythm and driving movement.
🎹 CFX Grand Piano – Supporting texture and depth.
🌌 R's Logo / Bell Split – Heavy pad providing the cinematic chord foundation.
🎻 Solo Violin – The first main melodic voice.
💨 "Ambient Ocean" Synth Patch – The alternating modern melody layer.
Watch the visual contrast in my performance layout: my Dark Blue Polo represents the foundation/accompaniment section, while the White-Pinkish Polo highlights the main melody controllers!
Credits & Gear:
Original Composer: HOYO-MiX
Game: Genshin Impact (HoYoverse)
Audio Software: REAPER DAW
Instruments Used: Yamaha Montage M ESP Expanded Softsynth
Video Editing: Adobe Premiere Pro

![Genshin Impact — Peaceful Wishes (Orchestral Version)
Bringing the full orchestral beauty of Watatsumi Island to life! 🌊✨
A few years ago, I recorded a solo piano cover of Peaceful Wishes. But for my upcoming Best of 2026 Genshin Covers Compilation, I wanted to try a production experiment. By matching the grids in Reaper, I layered the beautiful orchestral backing elements of its alternate daytime version, A Tranquil Town, underneath my live piano performance.
By removing the dominant Koto melody from the original audio, the piano now takes center stage alongside the lush Inazuman strings and woodwinds, creating a custom, fully-realized version of this beautiful theme.

If you want to see the notes clearly, check out my earlier piano solo cover featuring a dedicated overhead camera angle, perfect for learning the arrangement:
