As a travel writer, Adrienne Jordan's job is to explore beyond the surface of the places she visits. Her passion for adventure and conservation has taken her to volcanoes in Rwanda in search of silverback gorillas; biking through the rural farmlands of Myanmar and swimming in the Devil’s Pool at the top of Victoria Falls in Zambia.
But on her most recent assignment in the Florida Keys, she opted for a mode of transportation that offered a more free and flexible way to travel. Adrienne filled up the gas tank and hit the road in a Thor Motor Coach Class B AWD camper van and hit the road to research the threatened state of coral in the Keys with Mote Marine lab, get a taste of local culture, and uncover some of the best campgrounds and state parks the Keys have to offer.
