Planing stops have been around for over 500 years. In old books, they're never pictured because everyone knew what a planing stop was. These days, we use electric planers to do our dirty work. Step back and try one of these guys. I think you'll be amazed by how fun and satisfying they are to use with a hand plane. I've got every step for these covered. Every tool is discussed as well as some of my techniques. I think you guys are going to love this bench appliance that makers at one time thought would be a permanent fixture for future shops!
