Ben Player Interview - January 2020 (3x Bodyboard World Champion)
I recently caught up with Bodyboarding legend and world champ Ben Player at his home break Whale Beach. We ended up discussing Ben's career as a professional in the sport and winning his first events and world titles. As well as his most recent travels overseas and waves he has scored. We talked about Ben's worst wipeout throughout his career as well as his favourite waves to bodyboard around the world. Recent travels he went on that we discussed were Skeleton Bay, South Coast of Australia slabs such as Depot beach, Desert Point and Padang Padang both in Indonesia. We discussed Ben's time competing as a pro on the APB world tour. We discussed Ben's relationship with Bodyboard sponsor NMD and his own signature board. Concluding the interview we discussed Surf Lakes and Ben's awesome experience going to the wavepool and the future plans of it.
