Applying this to analyze Singularity pathways under various competition structures and potential shocks, Dr. Goertzel demonstrated both the difficulty of re-targeting social and economic trajectories once they begin to lock in and that "infrastructure is the best investment" for preventing unfavorable outcomes, advocating for broad coverage and "periphery-first activity" over targeted wealth transfers.
