I was not a fan of "Wonder" by R.J. Palacio, and I seem to be in the minority here! I want to highlight some organizations that are doing lots of advocacy work specifically around facial difference/disfigurement, as well as heartily recommend @jenvcampbell 's work on the subject, particularly her videos on fairy tales and disability.
