A major investment aimed at strengthening economic opportunities in southern Belize is taking shape in Bella Vista Village. Government is expecting a new market, valued at more than six hundred thousand dollars, to provide farmers, vendors, artisans and small business owners with a safe and reliable space to sell their products. Government officials say the project goes beyond constructing a building, focusing instead on creating long-term opportunities for residents and supporting the village's rapid growth. Chief Executive Officer in the Ministry of Economic Transformation, Carlos Pol, says the market could become a catalyst for economic activity throughout the area.
