"Bella d'estate" is a popular Italian song composed by Mango and Lucio Dalla, performed by Mango. It was released as a single in 1987 by Fonit Cetra and was included in Mango's album "Adesso" of the same year.
The song became a major hit for Mango, selling over 350,000 copies and reaching fourth on the Italian singles chart in August 1987. Its success has endured over time, leading to several reinterpretations. Mango himself recorded a Spanish version titled "Flor de verano," which was included in the Spanish edition of the "Adesso" album, "Ahora."
In 2008, the a cappella group Neri per Caso released a cover featuring Mango. More recently, in 2020, Mika and Michele Bravi collaborated on a version, and Tiziano Ferro included his cover in the album "Accetto miracoli: l'esperienza degli altri," with a video released in 2021.
In 2023, "Bella d'estate" achieved gold certification for digital sales in Italy, further solidifying its place as a beloved Italian song.
