RHYTHMS of ITALY
A couple of days have passed since I returned from Campania after 2 solid weeks of filming my next documentary project. Still exhausted, still overwhelmed by the sheer love and magic I experienced along the journey.
This is a snippet of legendary @hermanoluca and I playing in Napoli on Italian Liberation Day. The song is Bella Ciao and totally appropriate for the occasion. Also stay tuned for the most Neapolitan moment ever halfway through the clip..!
A huge thank you to the old friends and new who we met along the journey, and especially to Luca Rossi who has been a constant support and inspiration for this entire project.
It was the greatest privilege to work with Michelle Tofi on Rhythms of Italy who in addition to being a phenomenal DOP, was there in every sense to support the project. Also – real talk - supreme map reading skills, which were greatly needed!
So many stories, and so much magic. I’m excited to share more in coming weeks, and until then I’m off to the edit suite to relive it all again.
