I'm Madeleine Harvey, and thank you so much for hanging out with me today. I just want to take a couple of minutes and talk to you for a little bit about something that is absolutely crucial to succeeding in anything that you decide to do, like absolutely anything that you decide to do. But it's something that I see singers, dancers, actors, just people who are creative artists by nature. I see them struggle with myself included. There's a lot of personal passion in this in this topic for me. And I want to share that with you, and that is what you need to believe in order to be successful in making your goals come true and ultimately your dreams come true because. I think there's nothing that's more beautiful than an empowered person that a person that has the inner resources and the vision to make their life happen for them. So what is it what is it that we need to believe in? Well, the short answer is you must believe like you must really believe in the person you are becoming. Now, that's not the person you are. Sometimes there's a really big split for a lot of people. And vision has a lot to do with that. And how we perceive who we think we are has a lot to do with that. But we must believe in the person we are becoming. So you can say that is like future self if you want to, or sometimes I will say, you know, I like her, like I like that other Madeleine. I really like her. She's Boss! I like her a lot. But the reason why it gets very hard and very difficult has to do a lot with how we perceive ourselves. Now, when you're in. Any feel this is true for anything, but we're just looking through the lens of entertainment for just a second. When you're in something that is so. Driven by taste such as entertainment or art, singing beauty, any any of that, it can be very easy to fall under the sway of what other people think. Now, this is why it's not always clear. This whole who we think we are conversation, because who we think we are might be a kaleidoscope of who our parents want us to be, who our teachers want us to be, who our school wants us to be, who our work wants us to be and et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. We might be unconsciously just taking on that and then calling that our identity. So it's very, very important. This other who you are becoming because there's so much freedom in the you get to decide. You get to decide how this is different from this. Now, it's very difficult. I'm not going to lie and I'm not going to spare you from that, although I would really want to. It's very difficult because sometimes sometimes people are not going to agree with you. Sometimes people are going to believe in who you are or who they think you are, and they're not necessarily going to be able to see who you are becoming. So in that way, it can be a very lonely road to walk and it takes a large degree of inner courage. INOR just rebelliousness and just full on grit and determination to become who you are becoming because again, not everyone is going to be able to see it or some people just are not going to believe. That is that is really, really difficult, and I hear that a lot from singers, they will say, like, I want to be a singer. It's just that a teacher told me one time I never could. So I just didn't try or my mother maybe told me I couldn't. So I just stopped trying or my friends laughed at me one time when I wanted to sing for a talent show. So I just thought, it's safer just never to try. This is where it's difficult. This is where it's very difficult because it even feels like sometimes like full on delusion. Because there's a you that you can sense and you can feel, but no one else sees it or feels it. And right now that's going to have to be enough. It's going to have to be enough.
